Triton hail originally from the Plane of Water and as such are a water bound merfolk like Mortal Ancestry. Their past is filled with much bloodshed from the beasts of the sea, but now reside in small underwater communities on Lendahnna, some closer to the shore than others.
General Information
Triton typically are the same size and physicality of Humans however their skin are cooler hues, they possess various fish like features, and gills that can process both air and water. Triton are widely diverse just like the fish of the seas they hail from. In addition to their features, they all possess a minor magical influence from The Elemental Planes that allows them to use certain natural magics.
Origins of Creation
Triton were the first Mortals to be made by the Gods for The Elemental Planes. Sent to monitor the Genasi and Djinns. However, the harsh environment of even the relatively safest of The Elemental Planes proved hard for their survival and the Gods did not make Mortals for the others. The Triton abandoned founded bubble like cities before migrating back mostly to the material. Now they reside deep with in the ocean, as well as some more shore bound civilizations all over Lendahnna. Some travel to land and work in the rest of the Mortal societies, but this is not terribly common.

Triton are present in all of the oceans of Lendahnna.
