There is some debate on whether or not Warforged should be classified as Mortals by some scholars. That said, they most certainly are, and are the youngest of the Mortals by a large margin. These arcanotech beings are build of magic and material. Golems have been around for a long time, but only since just shortly before The Relinquent have these beings started to exist in full.
General Information
Most Warforged are roughly the same size as Humans. However, some may appear different sizes depending on their location and materials of origin. While a majority of them are bipedal, some also require wheels to move. All of them are made from a combination of arcane runes and magic that is beyond most, if not all, Mortal mind, and various other materials. The average Warforged are likely to take on the same form as Golems they awake from.
Origins of Creation
Why Warforged started to awake is largely a mystery, though it is thought that a freed arcane spirit within the Leylines of Lendahnna is the cause, what they are is less of a mystery. These beings are Golems or parts of them that have been tied to The Arcane Plane in an intense way. Some even state Boccob themselves have given them form. That said, Warforged are incredibly rare.
Regions
Warforged don’t really have a location of origin as such they could technically be present in any location that Golems or enough arcanotech is present. Though they are extremely uncommon even in those locations.
