Long shifted from their ancestors, these descendants of Dwarves call the deepest portions of the Underdark. Engaging in a long standing war with Mindflayers and the other entities of the great below. Their societies built upon the honor of protecting the surface from the dangers.
General Information
Duergar stand the same size and variety as Dwarves. Their skin is usually more pale and cool in color, as well as their hair usually being whiter. Otherwise remaining similar to their ancestorial cousins.
Origins of Creation
Early in the Dwarves creation many of them delved deep into the earth of Lendahnna. Over time they became something else. Here they established kingdoms in the Underdark becoming the most populated Mortals of the deep dark underground. That said, some dug so deep they encountered fiends from Hell and there is a population of Duergar that reside in Hell itself, having sworn to various Devil Lords.
Regions
Outside of the Underdark and Hell Duergar very rarely are seen on the surface of Lendahnna. Mountainous regions where Dwarves are heavy likely have connections to their cousins deep down and therefore a few may be present as diplomats of individuals of communication.
