These fiendish Mortals have long since broken from their influence of The Lower Planes and now roam Lendahnna in large. While some may still dip into that part of their ancestry, or reside within Hell itself, most are most similar to Humans as their presence upon Lendahnna while not as common, is widespread and welcome in cities, countryside, and wilderness alike.
General Information
Tieflings tend to be around the same heights as Humans just below four feet to the upper ends of six feet depending on heritage, though some may be taller or shorter in extreme cases. Unlike Humans, Tieflings are the most vibrant of Mortals. Their skin coming in nearly any shade under the rainbow, same with their hair and eyes, though their sclera tends to be darker in color. They also have horns of various variety and a tail that typically is barbed. Their musculature and features also have spikes, fur, tusks, and other various traits from their bloodline. Also worth noting that most Ancestries can produce offspring with Tieflings and they will always result in another Tiefling. However, another Mortal with influence from Fiends will not produce Tieflings as their own offspring.
Origins of Creation
Tieflings were Mortals created by Devils and Demons. Before The Blood War, the Fiends wished to have a people like the Gods did. Creating the Tieflings, but disputes over who ruled them lead to The Blood War itself. Most Tieflings then moved to Hell as it was slightly more hospitable. While many remain, and are the most populous Mortals in Hell, many fled to Lendahnna. Now they are seen in all parts of the world under many different professions.
Sub-Ancestries
There are a few different kinds of Tieflings based on their bloodline. That said over time they have mixed greatly with one another so features may be present in any Tieflings from any other.
Abyssal Tieflings
Primarily carrying the blood of Demons from the Abyss, these Tieflings carry fur, horns, and most likely to have things like tusks and more flat protrusions.
Chthonic Tieflings
These Tieflings carry the blood from other Lower Planes that are not Hell or the Abyss. Typically having more beautiful and etheric features due to the Divine influence upon the plane they carry influence with.
Infernal Tieflings
The most common kind of Tieflings. These hail from bloodlines of Hell. In addition to their horns, they may have spines, spikes, more glowing eyes, and at times even wings.
Regions
Tieflings can be found anywhere in Lendahnna. Most tend to be focused in the more heavily populated parts of the plane. Particularly Andurl, but that is not their only place of residence.
