Shifters are an odd hybrid of Mortals. While they share a close relationship with Lycanthropy and the Lycans themselves, they are distinctly different. These Mortals originated from a similar curse but rather than being upon Mortals it was upon the beasts themselves. Overtime they developed their own culture and societies, though seldom upon Lendahnna.
General Information
Shifters are nearly identical to Humans and their appearance other than some more hair and fur, as well as some bestial features. With some of their natural connection to the beasts they were formed from long ago, they also can temporarily shift portions of their bodies.
Origins of Creation
Long ago Mortals were cursed by the Fey causing the first source of Lycanthropy. However, at the same time during The War, beasts were also cursed. These animals taking partial Mortal form. Over time dwindling in numbers and descendants, now living in secluded parts of the wild.
Regions
Shifters live primarily in the more remote parts of Lendahnna. They also thrive in the moderate to colder environments. Making Fersclen and the hinterlands there prime locations for their societies.
