Few Mortals have been dealt a rough hand as a people as the Kenku have. Unable to speak in their own voice these bird folk must mimic the world around them for survival. Many have overcome these odds, and most find home in the larger cities of Lendahnna.
General Information
Kenku stand no taller than four feet in height, though some are far shorter. They possess black feathers and talon bird like legs. Their eyes may be various colors but mostly also on the darker side of the spectrums. They cannot speak any language, though they can mimic anything they have heard and can write and understand Common by birth. They also have impeccable memory, and tend to find their professions in a space that can utilize it.
Origins of Creation
Kenku came into being as mages and spies for the Gods during the latter portions of The War. However, for their craft and keen abilities they made dangerous enemies. Graz’zt took issue with the Kenku during this time and used a great deal of power to curse the Kenku removing their ability to speak their own thoughts.
Regions
Kenku are present the world over in Lendahnna but tend to prefer larger cities and civilizations.
