A much younger set of Mortals the Grung have only recently in the scale of the cosmos become capable of speech and full societies. These amphibious beings farm mushrooms for most of their survival and entrap Myconids to do so.
General Information
Grung are very small bipedal frog Mortals. Standing no taller than two and a half feet in height they are some of if not the smallest Mortals on Lendahnna. They come in a wide range of colors though most are green or blue in coloration with black spots. They require water to survive and therefore live in areas with rivers, swamps, or lakes. Their skin is also poisonous. Additionally, Grung are one of the few Mortals who were born long after The War, thus they do not speak common. They also typically only live a handful of years, though can exist to about fifty.
Origins of Creation
Grung are a more recent group of Mortals. Developing from larger dart frogs, it is said the Grung were granted life from gifts of natural focused Angels who say fit to give them more sentience. Developing slowly their own culture and language. They are still largely dangerous to the world and live secluded away from other Mortals to lord over their Myconids.
Regions
Grung require freshwater, as such they tend to love swamps, rainforests, and rivers. The largest population and first Grung hail from Klera. However, some have also popped up elsewhere in Lendahnna.
