Dragonborn were born from the efforts for Dragons to become as powerful upon Lendahnna as the Gods. The Chromatic Dragons starting this effort and the Metallic and Gem Dragons following suit. Now these Mortals live the plane over though in smaller amounts than most.
General Information
Dragonborn typically stand around five feet to just under seven feet tall. Their scales being colors similar to the kind of Dragons blood that runs in their heritage and body. The horns, fins, and other features their body carries can vary widely. All Dragonborn are capable of breathing magical elements of their Draconic ancestry. Some may even be able to use this innate magic to sprout wings.
Origins of Creation
During The War, some ambitious chromatic Dragons attempted to create life and succeeded in making Dragonborn. Their cousins in Metallic and Gem Dragons followed suit. At first they were used to battle one another, but eventually broke free from their Dragons’ rule. Now a wide spread people of various purpose. Though the pride of Dragons tends to be strong in Dragonborn leading them to positions of power in whatever pursuit they seek.
Sub-Ancestries
While Dragonborn do not have various clans or divisions in modern time based on their origin. Each Dragonborn carries a power and features from the Dragons that formed their ancestors long ago. They and their elements are below. Gem Dragonborn are extremely rare as the Dragons they hail from are almost completely killed off and those that remain reside deep in the Underdark or in the Plane of Earth.

Regions
Dragonborn cover Lendahnna the plane over, just in low amounts. Most of them being the only family of their kin in towns or smaller settlements. Some larger amounts can be found in larger populations. There is a decent amount of Dragonborn centric civilizations in Xev’Thok, the northern plains of Renmorelli’s hold, and the tundras on the north east corner of Oruk’s Mir.
