The largest independent city of Renmorelli’s Hold. Focusing on a strong export of gems found withing the abundance of resources in the region and the access to the other areas via the rivers. Unofficially treated as a central gathering place of the other city states and free cities.
Controlling Nation
Technically under the rule of Chardon however through trade negotiation and strategic deals with powerful individuals in the council are now considered mostly independent.
This independence has allowed for Elathea to make strong trade alliances with both Kaztoria and Noldo, as it is the biggest source of gems, ores, granite, and Crystone in the region.
Defenses
Elathea cannot have a standing army in accordance to Chardonian custom, but it houses a large militia and houses a large hunting guild and a smaller adventurers guild that acts more as a private guard for the Baroness of Elathea.
Population and Size
By far the largest of the city states, rivals the size of Valtovisi but instead of being condensed it spans over more open areas to allow more access the the rivers that surround it.

History
Once the 3 Nations were divided amongst the leaders of the peace talks, the capitol of Chardon needed to be finalized and it was between Elathea, Valtovisi, and Drymosehir. In the eyes of Sunderma, the capital needed to be connected to the land that it served. Upset by the seeming betrayal, Elathea announced its independence.
Since that time, years have cooled what was once a hard divide. Now they are close ally’s and Valtovisi and Chardon even allow for them to act independently as long as it doesn’t interfere with or harm others.

Districts
The Jade Quarter
The Mining district that sits at the heart of Elathea. The Jade quarter is comprised of 5 different mines, some humble living quarters and shops, and standing in the middle the Golden Depths trade house.
Hawk’s Eye
The Commercial District and home of the Baroness’s Estate. A bustling center of commerce, a large open air bazaar dotted with buskers and merchants selling their wears. Beautiful buildings made of every type of material you could imagine house more established and specialized shops that surround the bazaar. To the outside world, Hawk’s Eye is a whirlwind with no sense, but to the residents and tradespeople who call it home, it is a beautiful song and represents what makes Elathea special. Standing just on the outskirts almost as a barrier between Hawk’s Eye and the sprawling Kartali District stands Uvazh Estate, home of Marchioness Uvazh and the center for government here in Elathea.
Rivershield
Rivershield is the backbone of Elathea. The industrial district and home to the Docks of Doublet. Some say that Rivershield is the slums, but those who call it home know it for what it really is, the foundation that built Elathea into what it is now. Rivershield stands between the Illimet river and the rest of Elathea, therefor is often people’s introduction to the city. Cobbled streets lined with wooden structures, some breaking down and decaying yet still dotted with the gemstones that made this city.
Kartali
The ever growing and expanding residential “district” of the city. Kartali was first a small farming community that stood at the outskirts of Elathea, but due to the ever growing population it was consumed by the city itself. Now the primary residence for most of the people who call Elathea home. A slightly suburban feel to the district makes it a wonderful place for most established Elatheans who wish to be a part of the city but not live in the hustle and bustle. There has been talk about Kartali becoming its own entity and separating from Elathea, which has divided many of the residents.

Marchioness Helena Uvazh
Marchioness Helena Uvazah is a 70 year old half-elven woman. Helena is the head of the Uvazh family and therefor the ruler of Elathea, however she does not take the birthright lightly. She is a heavily respected and loved member of the Community of Elathea. She is often seen walking through the streets of Hawk’s Eye, Kartali, and Rivershield. Lucian Oburluk
Lucian Oburluk is a 30 year old Human man once from Kaztoria but moved to Elathea 10 years ago when he and his families company, Golden Depths bought out the families that once owned the 5 mines that make up the Jade Quarter. He is well known and decently liked by those that work for him. He is by far the wealthiest individual in Elathea and he is not shy about it. He is a playboy philanthropist and he knows it.
