Overview
Laila Yahya, otherwise known as High Cleric Yahya, is the leader of the Lacus Lounge, a subsect of the Celestian church within the Moh’Drun Empire. She has served as the High Cleric for the last century and a half, including during The Relinquent.
Appearance
A lithe drow woman whose divine presence and magic has left small motes of light on her freckles and light glow to her hair. She is typically wearing her divine vestments of blue, silvers, and gold. A small crescent moon circlet on her forehead to indicate her head status.
History
Laila was born in Heili’s Grace and moved north with her parents at a young age. Finding a calling to Celestian and eventually joined the Lacus Lounge as an acolyte and quickly rising their small ranks.
During The Relinquent her and the other clerics in the holy city of Din T’sinari were largely responsible for keeping it safe from the battles that spread over the region. Earning her a place of respect not only in the city but the nation as a whole.
Now she focuses most of her time on working with the other Celestian churches and working with the other clerics and acolytes around the temple.
