Mechanus is one of two neutral Planes of Existence. This plane exists as a meeting place of the Gods. Here they cannot enter into conflict with one another. The Modrons that work here created by the Gods long ago without any one being in control. It is here they meet to sign The Treaty and converse.

The plane of Mechanus is a perfect, lawful balance of mechanical gears and structures. The plane is small in comparison to the others. Any Mortal who has somehow been able to visit, they speak about how it would not be hard to see most of the plane, should the Modrons allow it.

The only denizens of Mechanus are the Modrons. A group of mechanically created small beings of complete law and order. They hold little power individually but as a group can achieve great things. They rarely, if ever, leave Mechanus for any other plane.
