The Parental Cult
The details of the plans that Caoimhin ‘Curaidh’ Faoladh’s parents were under going is largely unknown to the siblings. What could be found in the aftermath was clear. The first, is that whatever entity they were attempting to work with was trying to help bring power to their family so that they could funnel resources back into the cult. The entity likely was something demonic. The Faoladh sibling’s mother had fully sold her soul away and reached possession status after being confronted.
This conflict led to Fionn’s facial scar and the loss of Curaidh’s arm.
The Long Journey
The journey to Tarruset would have taken years. The trip out of Fersclen likely requiring stowing away or working for just enough coin to get to Andurl. The nation there was not easy to find a place in and served as a jumping off point for the long journey south and east. Occasionally dealing with the wilds of the jungles and things like that. The travel over the mountains of Oruk’s Mir being the harshest of the journey.
Success of Siblings
After getting to Din Moh’Drun it did not take long for the other two siblings to find success.
During his time there Curaidh would likely have been acquainted with some mercenary companies and various portions of the working districts his siblings worked in.
Caoimhin ‘Curaidh’ Faoladh would be aware of an apothecary named Mosstop Cauldron, ran by the Tinvial family. Though not aware of Shelby Tinvial himself.
The Fury of Celestial Might
The magic that Caoimhin ‘Curaidh’ Faoladh wields is from a divine catalyst but inherently an arcane practice. While the direct bloodline of his power is unknown it is likely from some sort of angel that was here for battle during The War. There is a short list of deities that they could have served but the strangeness is that his siblings do not have the same kinds of powers. Making the research into it more difficult than it likely has ever been worth.
The manifesting of this magic comes from very particular weapon motions, the use of his eyes to trace sigils with his pupils, and small inflections of incantations. This results in sigils, runes, and other things appear around his foes. For the effects of charms, if it is in a non-combative situation, Curaidh has the time to make sure these efforts are invisible. In combat things get more reckless and therefore charms result in temporary celestial branding that impact the entities mind. For seals that are for only damaging, they tend to hover around an individual until they are activated in which case more permanent branding are forced upon the enemy. At times the seals may even remain around the weapon that Curaidh wields to be activated. Few individuals fight as he does and most of the magic should likely be obscured when need be.
Morrison’s Plan
The plan has been in motion for the last 4 months. Morrison caught word through his connections of a very secret shipment making its way from overseas, into Kholo and then up to Tarruset to be delivered to various anonymous individuals in the city.
In preparation, the members have spent time getting a few new allies, resulting in the hiring of Dolgarn and Dariggs Strohgheim and very recently Tardor Despt. Some arcane bombs have been acquired, as well as mounts. Heists to copy the routes paths and timings have occurred.
On the day of the plan will be to drop some rocks using the bombs to cut off the route as they round the edges of the Rak’tpan Mesas and the Huvzalte Desert. Forcing the skiffs and caravans into a choke point. Here the bombing team will drop down and take care of the drivers and the other ambush team will approach from behind. The goal is to eliminate any guards, take the shipments, and then flee for an outpost stretch to the southeast of Tarruset. All hands are on deck for this one. The main reason for hitting the caravan is it is claimed to have a gem worth upwards of fifty thousand gold.
